I remember getting Level 42's "Level 42" quite some time after it really came out. Like midway thru '83. My brother had the cassette of it and was really tripping out to Starchild. If i remember correctly in a span of a week, i got this and TFF's The Hurting album (although the TFF album was a locally pressed record.

Toti Dalmacion

Can't remember exactly. I always thought it was The Hues Corporation's 'Rock The Boat' but then again it could be Love Unlimited Orchestra's Love's Theme OR Walter Murphy's "A Fifth Of Beethoven" on 7" aka 45 single....timeframe anywhere from 74-76. Allowance for school most commonly referred to as "baon" was used to purchase in a "record bar" at the back Fiesta Carnival or Rustan's.

Cocoy Puyat
DJ, promoter
Daryl Hall & John Oates "H2O"

JJ Yulo

Journey - Escape .... I had a second hand Walkman from my Tito, and no tapes. I was in some department store in the States, and the first thing I bought was this tape. I must've been 8 or something. Don't stop believing, yo. ;p

Andrew de Castro
TV exec
A 45 of The Knack's "My Sharona". Which I bought at the 2nd floor of Alemars bookstore beside Rizal Theater in Makati. I brought it to school the next day to show it off to my classmates and this bully took it from me and didn't give it back. So I cried. If I ever run into that guy again I'm gonna punch him in the face.
